Chimney Repairs

Chimneys take the brunt of high winds and driving rain. We repair crumbling brickwork, repoint mortar joints, and renew lead flashing to stop leaks around your chimney stack.

When You Need Chimney Repairs

Cracked or crumbling mortar joints between chimney bricks. Damp patches appearing on walls around the chimney breast inside your home. Leaning or loose chimney pots sitting atop the stack. Pieces of brick or mortar falling onto your roof tiles or ground below.

How We Do It

We inspect the structural stability of your chimney stack and flashing from scaffolding. We rake out damaged mortar and replace loose bricks where necessary. We install fresh lead flashing and step flashings to seal the joint between roof and stack. We apply a waterproof sealant or cap pots if required to prevent future water ingress.

What to Expect

Most chimney repairs and repointing jobs are completed within 1 to 2 days.
